In the initial phases of the program you will understand warehouse procedures, shipping and receiving, and handle all aspects of paperwork including shipping feedback, cash sale transactions, banking and report reconciliation.\nTo experience success in the position, you will:\nRepresent the Profit Centre in a professional manner\nUphold our core values and ethics with every interaction\nBe an effective teammate in the Profit Centre\nBe courteous and friendly; building long lasting loyal customer and vendor relationships\nBe detail oriented, organized, and accurate\nAnalyze and solve problems\nPrioritize tasks\nAdditional duties will include:\nProvide accurate and timely invoicing of customer shipments daily\nAssist in servicing customers including answering phones\nFiling of packing slips, pickers, and reconciled reports \nReconcile daily cash transactions payments, prepare the bank deposit, and submit deposit paperwork for the National Support Centre\nObtain, review, verify and enter purchase and expense vendor invoices, debit memos and debit cancellations in the system for processing in an accurate and timely manner\nWork in conjunction with Counter Sales teammates to find order discrepancies to ensure all products are received and accounted for\nAdvise vendors on warranty claims for their customers and process them in a timely manner\nInvestigate, resolve, and respond to all customer, vendor, credit and National Support Centre inquiries in a timely fashion that exceeds the customers’ expectations and benefits of the Profit Centre\nEnter customer credit notes and vendor debits in the system\nReconcile cash sheets daily\nUnderstand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre\nSupport all Profit Centre activities as part of the Profit Centre Team\nPerform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager\nPhase 1 -Warehouse and Customer Service\nA focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.\n\nPhase 2 - Customer Relationships and Procurement\nA focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors, and providing world class service.\n\nPhase 3 - Account Management and Proactive Sales\nA focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of the business and creating strong customer partnerships.\n\nPhase 4 - Leadership and Operations\nA focus on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.\n\n College and/or University degree\nPositive attitude and results oriented mindset\nDesire to continuously learn and grow\nExcellent customer service and organizational skills\nPossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity\nAbility to work well independently and in a team setting\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates\nProficient in Microsoft Office software\n Salary Range - $40,000-$45,000\nEMCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a discrimination, harassment, and barrier free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
