Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.\nJob Summary\nThe Application Engineer III will be responsible for coordinating the planning and design of control systems to include programming and system configuration. The Application Engineer III will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring other the control system engineering team members.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nExecutes project start-ups, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of installed BAS controls and mechanical systems on assigned projects.\nParticipates in the layout and coordination of network drops, IP addresses and monitoring tools with customer's IT Department personnel.\nRuns complex reports to analyze system operation, works with project team to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with the contracted scope of work.\nDevelop written sequence of operation based on mechanical drawings\nUnderstand the design and intent of mechanical equipment and systems such as Chiller, Boiler, Custom AHU’s, Primary/Secondary pumping, Variable flow Chilled water plants, Clean Room Applications, Demand Response, and Energy solutions.\nAnalyze systems and develop scope of work for controls implementation, create control algorithms, download source code to controllers and manage databases.\nGive technical presentations on building automation, controls, and emerging technology and experience in multiple systems integration.\nParticipates in final inspection and testing, assures customer acceptance, and conducts training for end user customers on system operations.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.\nStrong networking background required\n8+ years of direct automation experience with control system architecture design and programing required/\n6+ years of experience with Niagara AX/N4, Distech, Delta, or similar systems.\nKnowledge of Direct Digital Controls, BACnet, MODbus, Tridium, Schneider, and Delta required.\nMust have working knowledge of HVAC systems - Unitary Systems to Central Plants\nEngineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer programming.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExperience with control system architecture design, programing, or maintenance desired.\n#Mesa #LI-Mesa #LI-HVACjobs #LI-Onsite\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
