Danforth Company, you will play a hands-on role in bringing projects to life, gaining exposure to both field and office operations. In this fast-paced role, you’ll take ownership of key project activities - from coordinating material procurement and tracking quantities to reviewing submittals, RFIs, and supporting critical project communications.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nSupport project managers in planning and allocating resources effectively to meet project objectives.\nAssist in preparing comprehensive budgets and monitoring financial progress throughout the project lifecycle.\nAid in monitoring project timelines and milestones, identifying and addressing potential risks and delays.\nMaintain clear and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.\nCollaborate with project team members to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions.\nAssist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all project stages.\nCoordinate project schedules, subcontracts, and labor to maximize project success.\nReview project invoice amounts with clients to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.\nMaintain a daily log of project activities and correspondence to track progress and facilitate communication.\nQualifications\n0-5 years of experience in the construction or engineering industry.\nBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Associate’s degree (AAS) in a construction-related field preferred.\nProficiency with computer-based project management and related systems.\nAbility to safely navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and stairs to review work in progress.\nCapability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, reaching, climbing, and crawling.\nWork is performed in both office and active construction environments.\nConstruction environments may be non-climate-controlled, physically challenging, dirty, and potentially hazardous, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
