We specialize in designing and installing advanced automation solutions with intuitive and interactive graphical user interfaces.\nJob Summary\nEMCOR Services Automated Controls, a division of DeBra-Kuempel, is seeking to fill a BAS Service Technician role. The BAS Service Technician performs maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning of building automation systems while supporting customers on-site and remotely. This role manages service documentation, contract hours, and customer communication to ensure efficient system performance. The ideal candidate has strong controls experience, technical expertise, and excellent customer service skills.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nPerform scheduled controls preventative maintenance for various building automation systems \nPerform technical startup/checkout/commissioning of building automation systems \nPerform service call troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of building automation systems \nProvide remote support for building automation customers \nManage estimated preventative maintenance hours on assigned contracts \nLog maintenance tasks via building automation system \nComplete service ticket reports for all preventative maintenance accounts and T&M projects \nCoordinate with Service Team Lead for proposals or extra work required \nCommunicate with customers on tasks completed and hours spent \nAcquire service ticket signatures as required \nMaintain all safety standards and compliance documentation \nPerform other duties as assigned \nQualifications\nHigh school diploma required. MET Technical Degree, MES Journeyman, or equivalent preferred. \nMinimum 3 years related experience in building automation & mechanical controls industry service experience preferred. \nMechanical service experience preferred. \nService estimation experience preferred. \nWorking knowledge of Automated Logic, Tridium, Honeywell, Trane, JCI and other control systems preferred. \nKnowledge of the controls service industry and contract documentation. \nWorking knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines. \nFamiliarity with building automation software & applications \nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel) \nFamiliarity with construction/maintenance tracking software \nExcellent customer relations and communications skills. \nMust be self-motivated, goal and results oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paces environment. \nMust have high standards of quality with attention to detail. \nMust be efficient at scheduling and meeting commitments for multiple customers. \nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
