Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.\nJob Summary\nThe Automation Technician III will inspect, test, adjust and repair new or existing electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic automation devices, and systems. It will also diagnose the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Automation Technician III will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring other automation technicians.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nUnderstand the design and intent of mechanical equipment and systems (Chiller, Boiler, Custom AHU’s, Primary/Secondary pumping, Variable flow Chilled water plants, Clean Room Applications, Demand Response, and Energy solutions).\nAnalyze systems and develop scope of work for controls implementation.\nMonitor, identify and diagnose potential problems using computer workstations and on-site observations.\nInterface with the installation or maintenance team members to execute installations, repairs or modifications of controlled systems and equipment.\nGive technical presentations on building automation, controls, and emerging technology.\nAble to locate defective or non-operational components in new and existing systems, using test equipment and programming knowledge.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.\n8+ years of direct automation experience with control systems and programing required.\nWorking knowledge of at least three HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover)\nAbility to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level.\nEngineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer programming.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExperience with control system architecture design, programing, or maintenance desired.\nGood computer skills, understanding of controls networking.\nA valid driver’s license.\n#Mesa #LI-Mesa #LI-HVACjobs #LI-Onsite\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanicaland electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure,we offer employess a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and sucess.
