This position will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain project schedules, and work closely with project management and design teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Food Tech's quality standards.\nThe successful candidate will workon-site at construction projects nationwide.\n#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-Onsite #Foodtech\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProvide on-site construction supervision and leadership.\nSchedule, sequence, and coordinate trade subcontractors and owner vendors.\nMaintain and track the master project schedule.\nCreate and maintain three-week lookahead schedules.\nAssist the Project Manager with monthly project reports covering permitting, schedule, budget, quality, and customer needs.\nReview and understand each subcontractor's scope of work.\nCoordinate required inspections with building officials.\nLead subcontractor orientation and weekly on-site coordination meetings.\nRoutinely walk the project site to ensure work is being performed safely and meeting schedule and quality expectations.\nEnsure approved materials are properly incorporated into construction.\nResolve subcontractor disputes and conflicts.\nRead and interpret construction drawings and specifications.\nIdentify conflicts or omissions and coordinate with the Food Tech Design Team to resolve them.\nHelp ensure site safety requirements are consistently met.\nPrepare daily site reports.\nReview project budgets regularly with the Project Manager.\nManage punch-list procedures and project closeout.\nAssist with construction site setup and closeout.\nOther duties as required.\nQualifications\n10+ years of relevant experience in food production facility construction, including overall responsibility for project site activities, or recent completion of five food production facilities.\nAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.\nStrong construction scheduling, quality control, and site management abilities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and coordinate others effectively.\nTeam-oriented with a positive and professional approach.\nAbility to develop firm but fair working relationships with subcontractors.\nAbility to communicate project challenges early and effectively.\nStrong focus on customer satisfaction.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, and related construction technology.\nOSHA 10/30 training.\nDesign-build experience is a plus.\nRegular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.\nBenefits\nFood Tech offers a competitive benefits package, including:\nCompetitive compensation based on experience.\nMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.\n401(k) program with company match.\nPaid time off.\nAnnual bonus opportunities.\nReimbursement for:Professional licensing\nCertifications\nContinuing education\nProfessional memberships\n\nReady to bring your construction leadership experience to projects across the country?
