Comunale is seeking a Delivery Driver / Shop Asspcoate. This position will be working with the Delivery Driver and Branch Manager to assist in transporting materials and equipment to specific construction job sites as well as keeping organization and of the shop and office area.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nVerifies and secures loads.\nInspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.\nDrives truck to assigned destination(s) when needed.\nAssists workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.\nMaintains truck log according to state and federal regulations. \nPerforms emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc. when needed.\nMonitor and keep the shop / shop yard clean of all debris.\nSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.\nMaintains cleanliness for shop/warehouse, storage yard, parking lot as needed.\nMaintains cleanliness for office area consistently as needed.\nDelivers and picks up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings when needed.\nMust be able to work OT and off hour shifts if required.\nRestock returned material.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED is required.\n2+ years of delivery driving or related work experience is required.\nVocational or industry trade school is a plus.\nPossession of a current DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain is required.\nValid driver’s license with driving record that meets or exceeds Company standards found in the Fleet Policy is required.\nPrevious experience operating a forklift is required.\nAble to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required. \nAverage experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications is required.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
