In this role you will be responsible for designing fire alarm detection and special hazard type systems for a variety of construction projects as well as specialized fire suppression systems which would include clean agent, CO2, and VESDA.\n#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-onsite\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDesign and layout fire alarm detection and clean agent suppression systems.\nSelf-development and training\nPrepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and schematics required to support the installation of fire alarm systems.\nMaintain project drawing files, associate records, and documentation tracking.\nTimely completion and processing of required paperwork.\nHelp improve the design department.\nPromote safety to the team members on their projects.\nAssist project estimator with project cost and change order issues.\nPlanning, scheduling, and project management of their projects.\nQuality design & layout of fire alarm & releasing systems.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, electrical engineering, a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience. Examples include architectural, civil engineering, design engineering technology, mechanical engineering, and construction management degrees.
