This role is for an on-going assignment. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.\n#SIC\n#LI On-Site\n#LI-VB1\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nRun conduit and wire for new installs.\nTroubleshoot electrical components.\nDemo electrical on equipment. \nAbility to put together material list for projects.\nAbility to drive scissor lift and boom lift.\nAbility to work overtime. \nInterpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed.\nMeasure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, using hand and power tools such as porta bands, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.\nPull wiring through conduit, and splice and connect wiring using hand tools.\nInstall control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand and power tools.\nConnect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.\nTest continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using instruments.\nDetect, recognize, and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.\nPerform installations, repairs, and modifications according to NEC, NFPA70e, local, and facility safety regulations.\nPerform frequent safety inspections of work area, equipment, and tools in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program. \nAbility to work independently and also foster positive work practices in a team environment.\nMust be detail oriented with the ability to analyze and resolve work problems.\nMust have the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.\nQualifications\nAt least 3 years Electrician experience required and/or combination of completed apprenticeship/training program with experience.\nSkilled in both written and verbal communication.\nComplete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.\nObserve SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.\nPhysical Demands\n May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds\nMust possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above\nMust be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas\nMust have full range of motion consistent with age\nMust be able to climb and maintain balance ladders\nMust be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises\nVisual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces\nSafety/Steel toe shoes are required.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
