Mon to Fri 7:00am to 5:00pm. Responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial and industrial facility equipment. Ensures building systems operate safely and efficiently while maintaining a comfortable environment for occupants. Documents work in the CMMS, supports facility operations, and delivers excellent customer service while working independently and as part of a team.Essential Duties & Responsibilities\nPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine repairs on commercial building systems and equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs. Monitor equipment performance, document maintenance activities, and report concerns. Complete tasks such as filter changes, lubrication, belt replacement, coil cleaning, painting, and minor carpentry repairs. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with occupants, vendors, and team members. Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements. Support contractors, special projects, and facility operations while maintaining clean and organized work areas. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications\nEducation\n(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Trade school, vocational training, technical certification, or related coursework preferred.\nBusiness Experience\n(prior years work/related experience)\n5 years experience in the position\nLicenses/Certifications\nEPA608 CFC required. Valid driver's license required. Forklift, aerial lift, scissor lift, OSHA, or trade certifications are a plus.\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read, understand, and interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and work orders. Ability to prepare routine reports, maintenance documentation, and professional correspondence.\nAbility to effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, and management. Ability to calculate measurements, percentages, proportions, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebraic and geometric concepts to maintenance and repair activities. Ability to solve practical problems involving multiple variables in environments with limited standardization.\n QualificationsBasic knowledge of commercial building systems, maintenance practices, and general repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Ability to safely use hand and power tools, operate lifts and forklifts (with certification), and utilize computers, mobile devices, and CMMS software.
