This role is responsible for overseeing projects from design through construction, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The onsite Project Manger serves as the primary liaison between field teams, contractors, customers, and stakeholders while providing leadership and direction throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to travel extensively, with\nup to 80% travel required\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProject Leadership & Oversight\nLeads the day-to-day management of projects during the construction phase.\nProvides detailed constructability reviews of project documents and offers recommendations.\nAdvises on the development of construction procurement documents and GEC responsibilities.\nManages contractor requests to ensure timely responses and project continuity.\nAssumes a lead role in dispute resolution activities on assigned projects.\nDefines the roles and reporting structures for project team members.\nFinancial & Contractual Management\nManages project budgets efficiently and effectively.\nReviews, monitors, and provides recommendations on potential Change Orders, including analysis of their impact on budget and schedule.\nEnforces contractor compliance with contract requirements for reporting, environmental regulations, scheduling, and invoicing.\nMonitors consultant and contractor performance, reviews and approves invoices, and resolves payment disputes.\nCommunication & Stakeholder Relations\nServes as the primary point of contact for project-related issues and changes.\nRepresents the company in partnering sessions with contractors, agencies, and organizations to build strong working relationships.\nProvides regular, detailed reports on project status, resource allocation, and future needs to leadership and executive staff.\nCommunicates effectively with project partners, stakeholders, and internal departments like Communications and Community Relations.\nAdvises and communicates directly with the Executive Team and Director of Engineering on all project matters.\nTechnical & Operational Support\nAssists in developing project procurement documents for various delivery methods (e.g., Design/Bid/Build, Design/Build, P3).\nReviews project schedules and monitors construction progress to identify and address any potential impacts.\nCoordinates construction activities with the Director of Toll Operations.\nParticipates in contractor evaluations, bid analysis reviews, and award recommendations.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience:\nExperiance with plumber/water solutions.\nExperience in management, operations, and leadership.\nValid driver licenses required. \nOSHA 10, if not certified must be completed within 30 days of hire date. \nSkills and Abilities Required:\nAbility to effectively collaborate with internal and external resources.\nSelf-directed and able to function with ease as part of a team.\nTechnically astute and strategic in thinking.\nStrong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to focus on details as required, and have the ability to work well within a deadline driven environment.\nConstruction experience is desirable.\nInnovative project delivery methodology experience\nProven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nProficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office tools, and some knowledge of applicable project management software.\nPhysical Demands\nLifting frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.\nStanding for extended periods, up to 6 hours per day.\nWalking, continuously.\nClimbing ladders while carrying weight\nWearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses, gloves, respirator, hard hat and other PPE required.\nWork Environment\nWhile performing the essential functions of this position, you will be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions including exposure to extreme cold, heat and humidity.
