Danforth Company, you will have a direct impact on operations by ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials required for both shop and field teams. You will serve as a key liaison between vendors, field personnel, and internal departments to maintain efficient procurement processes and strong supplier relationships.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nEnhance supplier performance to secure optimal pricing and delivery schedules.\nStreamline requisition processing and oversee workflow to ensure timely and accurate order administration.\nConfirm compliance with internal requirements to facilitate prompt and precise delivery to shop and field operations\nPartner with internal teams to effectively forecast procurement needs and align supply with demand.\nAssist warehouse operations with receiving, documenting, and fulfilling shop orders efficiently and accurately.\nAddress and resolve procurement issues, including urgent project-related material needs.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement best practices.\nQualifications\nAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on industry experience preferred.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is highly preferred.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Dynamics GP or Google tools preferred.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with vendors.\nStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
