In this position you will be responsible for a wide range of project management and project administration duties with the Fire Protection Special Hazards/Fire Alarm team.\n#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-Onsite\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nAssist Special Hazards/Fire Alarm designer, project manager, and estimating personnel as needed.\nUse Project Manager program.\nUse customer portals like Procore, Building Connected, etc. for file transfer\nCreate project-specific equipment submittal documents.\nDocument submittals.\nMaintain document retention strategy for retaining hard and electronic copies of test paperwork and other essential documents.\nWork with general contractors on submittals.\nCoordinating outing events for the team.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nThis position requires a proficiency in computer usage above basic Microsoft Office & Windows Skills. Must be tech savvy\nExperience with construction document submittal software and processes is a plus.\nMust be able to retain training in an organized fashion to be successful.\nGood understanding of Excel Spreadsheets and Creating of Tables.\nAt least 1 year of administrative experience.\nExperience in construction administration preferred.\nProven experience in multi-tasking and doing several difficult tasks at once - incoming calls, scheduling, internal personnel, emails, tracking down information, etc.\nMust possess strong organizational skills.\nMust be organized, self-motivated and a strong work ethic.\nProfessionalism in email and over the phone\nMust be able to maintain a confidential work ethic.\nRegular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required\nBenefits\nWe are committed to providing Shambaugh & Son employees and their families with a comprehensive benefits package.
