We provide comprehensive facility services ranging from mechanical maintenance and self-performed, site-based operations to energy-efficiency upgrades and supplier-managed interior/exterior maintenance.\nJob Summary\nThe Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and commissioning phases of multiple cross functional non-capital and capital construction projects ranging from $100K to $1.5MM with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, project controls, and completing projects in a timely and cost-effective manner\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nImprove the design and performance of buildings and engineering systems, including new construction or alterations to existing space\nOversee multiple projects from inception to completion including the following: define scope and budget, compile bid documents, budget reconciliation, value engineering, solicit bids, award contracts, schedule management, submittal review, project meetings, utility shutdown coordination, inspections, progress reports, payment review, change order negotiations, budget management, start-up, commissioning, and contract closeout, including warranty work\nJob emphasis is on delivering projects that meet the functional design requirements, are reliable, easily maintained, energy efficient, sustainable, and have a long operating life\nDemonstrated skills in negotiating, coordinating, and directing work of subcontractors, and in developing strong working relationships with general contractor personnel, subcontractors, inspectors, stakeholders, and other related parties\nHighly skilled in budgeting and scheduling with strong verbal and writing skills\nProven knowledge of energy systems, the built environment, governance, procurement, and generally versed in jurisdictional and architectural and engineering design requirements and applicable codes\nExperienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously; able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment, balancing competing priorities and multiple project assignments\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a field related to construction (i.e., engineering, architecture, construction)\nMinimum of ten (7) years of experience in construction with emphasis in multiple complex, fast- track, and phased project delivery\nHigh degree of demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability\nRespect for details and the ability to execute at a high level with significant independence\nAbility to prioritize and execute tasks to achieve both corporate and project goals\nArticulate communication skills - verbal, pictorial, and numerical\nBusiness acumen, demonstrated by understanding of business implications of decisions; orientation to profitability; knowledge of market and competition; and alignment of work with strategic goals\nSuperior negotiating skills and a personable negotiator\nLeadership skills, demonstrated by confidence in self and others; ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well; and ability to effectively influence actions and opinions of others\nProblem solving expertise, demonstrated by identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner; working with others to solve complex issues\nInterpersonal skills, demonstrated by considering and responding appropriately to the needs and capabilities of different people in different situations; tactfulness; treating others with respect; and relating effectively to others when encountering difficult situations\nStrong computer skills in SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI, scheduling software such as MS Project\nPMP Certification Preferred - or willingness to attain within 6 months\nLEED accreditation a plus\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanicaland electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure,we offer employess a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and sucess.
