Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.\nJob Summary\nDeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill a Safety Manager position. The Safety Manager leads jobsite safety initiatives by developing and enforcing safety programs, conducting inspections and investigations, providing employee training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations. This role supports a strong safety culture through hazard prevention, risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of company safety programs.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProvide leadership in developing and updating safety policies, procedures, and practices that prevent accidents and ensure compliance with the most recent Local, State, and Federal rules and regulations including OSHA, IOSHA, MSHA, DOT, NFPA, and EPA. \nMaintain, promote, and enforce project site safety in accordance with Company, State, and Federal policies and procedures; monitor and correct safety concerns and hazards at jobsites \nProvide training, recommendations and assistance to employees in safe equipment operation, material and substance use, and jobsite hazards \nAdvise Safety Director on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions. \nMaintain Safety files and records. \nPerform safety inspections and prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where indicated; follow up to ensure measures have been implemented. \nConduct accident investigation and prepare reports identifying possible accident causes and hazards; submit report to Safety Director in a timely manner. \nAssist in the evaluation and upgrading of Safety Programs. \nPerform other duties as assigned to support the success of the role and organization. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in a Safety related field is preferred \nMinimum of five (5) years Field Safety Management experience, preferably in Construction MEP Industry. \n30 Hour OSHA Certification required. \nOSHA Outreach Trainer may be required for some jobsite locations. \nStrong knowledge of all applicable OSHA, DOT, NFPA, and EPA regulations. \nDemonstrated knowledge of fundamentals of Construction Safety, Accident Prevention, Occupational Injury, Human Factors, Industry Safety Criteria, Risk Management, and Incident Investigation techniques and methods. \nMust be able to lead and communicate effectively with a wide range of team members \nDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. \n#LI-LV1#LI-Onsite\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
