Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.\nJob Summary\nDeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill a Service Manager position. This individual will lead a team of Service Technicians by providing assistance, guidance, and training, managing and monitoring the performance of service and repair projects within the Account Team. This individual will oversee service and repair operations for assigned customer accounts by providing technical leadership, coordinating resources, supporting technicians, and developing customer estimates.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nManage and monitor the performance of service and repair projects within the assigned customer accounts. \nProvide technical assistance to the Service Coordinator to ensure the most effective and efficient distribution of manpower. \nAssist the Account Manager in defining the technical requirements for proper equipment service and repair, and the management of new and existing accounts. \nProvide assistance, guidance, and training to Service Technicians, interdepartmental personnel (Dispatch Coordinators and Service Coordinators) in performing their respective assignments. \nCooperate in the management/maintenance of good customer and employee relations, accurate documentation, and employee performance and staffing decisions. \nParticipate in the twenty-four hour on-call weekly rotation, as directed by the Vice President. \nProvide customer repair/replacement estimates in a timely professional manner. \nBe responsible for refrigerant inventory of technician’s refrigerant usage. \nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. \nA minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in HVAC and Refrigeration. \nEPA refrigeration certification (Universal) is required. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills are required. \nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a positive, engaging, proactive, and team-based style. \nThe ideal candidate will satisfactorily complete an industry aptitude test. \nDemonstrating strong organizational skills to achieve operational profitability, document and record retention, and sound procedural operations. \nBuilding strong Customer and Employee relations is a cornerstone of success in this role. \nMust demonstrate excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) \nThe ideal candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn other software applications, as required. \n#LI-LV1#LI-Onsite\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
