Manages the receipt of MRO supplies (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) & other items. May also include, “put away”, managing/coordinating outgoing shipments, inventory cycle counting and receipt of cores for refurbishment. Serve as a liaison for and resource to third-party operations. This role does not handle raw materials or bulk process chemicals for manufacturing, waste water treatment, Utilities, or machine clothing etc.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\n· Unload incoming shipments, check that the correct and complete order has been received, inventory or tag on all items of equipment, and make deliveries to the appropriate department or stocking locations. Prepare and mail proper paperwork and or call the vendor if there is a discrepancy. · Operate lifts, scales, hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment used in receiving and stocking activities· Prepare forms and maintain records, dealing with discrepancies and damaged merchandise\n· Receive, process and check merchandise and verify the correctness of the shipment against the purchase order\n· Prepare shipments for return to vendors, deliver shipments to recipients, and pick up shipments from departments that need to be returned\n· Regular contact with departmental personnel regarding the status of ordered merchandise for the delivering and picking up of merchandise\n· Regular contact with the vendors and delivery drivers regarding shipment discrepancies\nQualifications\nEducation (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)\nTechnical School or High School diploma/certificate or equivalent with additional equivalent experience\nBusiness Experience (prior years’ work/related experience)\nMinimum of 2-5 years of logistics, warehousing, spare parts management and SAP experience.\nLicenses/Certifications\nForklift License, Boom Lift License \nComputer Skills\nStrong computer skills using Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to utilize SAP software.\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish\nWritten and Oral Communication Skills\nAbility to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with both management and field level employees.\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
