Danforth Company, you will play a key role in supporting our construction and service operations by safely transporting tools, equipment, and materials to job sites and company locations. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the construction industry and gain exposure to a variety of trades and operations, while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nSafely operate company vehicles, including pickups, box trucks, stake trucks, and other fleet vehicles.\nDeliver tools, equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites and company facilities in a timely manner.\nLoad and unload materials while following proper safety procedures.\nConduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns as needed.\nMaintain accurate delivery records and documentation.\nAssist with warehouse, shop, and inventory-related tasks as needed.\nCommunicate effectively with field and shop personnel to coordinate deliveries and support project needs.\nMaintain a professional attitude and represent the company positively when interacting with employees, customers, and vendors.\nAdhere to all company safety policies, driving regulations, and operating procedures.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record.\nPrevious delivery, warehouse, or construction industry experience is a plus, but not required.\nAbility to safely operate company vehicles and comply with all driving regulations.\nPhysical ability to load, unload, and move materials and equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
