Will also process orders/requests made by Service and Operations staff.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nPerforms various warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents; noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage, and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.\n\nResponsible for ordering materials as directed by the Supervisor, seeking the best pricing through best-known methods, and continuously reducing shipping costs.\n\nMaintains established inventory levels by regularly checking shelves and preparing purchase orders.\n\nPerforms clerical and manual duties in material areas such as receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.\n\nAddressing and properly disposing of materials/parts returned under warranty.\n\nActive member in the Warehouse Safety Team.\n\nDeliver tooling and materials to job sites.\n\nKeeps shop, warehouse, and yard clean and organized.\n\nKeeps hazardous waste storage areas clean and records up to date.\n\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience.\n\n2+ years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.\n\nPossess basic skills in MS Office Suite applications.\n\nMust be able to pay attention to detail and work well with others in a highly matrix environment.\n\nForklift certification or be able to obtain certification quickly.\n\nBackground working with trades (i.e., Electrical, HVAC, etc.) preferred.\n\nMust have the ability to have a flexible work schedule.\n\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\n\nValid driver's license and have a good driving record.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate with others, oral and written.\n\nMust be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time and must be able to push/pull, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and crawl frequently.\n\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
