The Warehouse Driver delivers equipment and materials, including vendor deliveries, jobsite returns, and scheduled pickups.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nAssist the Warehouse Team Lead (WTL) with routine inspections of all department vehicles and tools for signs of wear and tear. \nPerform hands-on movement of materials, including managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, and loading/unloading vehicles. \nParticipate in scheduled warehouse inventories-monthly, quarterly, and annually. \nConduct weekly spot checks to assess inventory levels and identify replenishment needs. \nDeliver materials to project sites as needed. \nProvide support at job sites when required. \nAssist with general warehouse tasks such as trash removal, unloading and disposing of returned materials, yard cleaning, and mowing. \nAccurately label and identify all incoming materials by project. \nFollow established procedures for monitoring all materials brought into the warehouse for inventory tracking. \nAdhere to systems for tracking materials removed from the warehouse for inventory and job costing purposes. \nComply with processes for scheduling and tracking incoming deliveries, verifying packing slips, forwarding documentation to accounting, and updating the Ordered Materials/Equipment Sheet. \nFollow procedures for scheduling and tracking all outgoing job deliveries. \nMaintain accurate records of specialized tools and equipment checked out to field personnel. \nInteract respectfully and courteously with coworkers at all times.\nQualifications\nMust adhere to and participate in the company safety program.\nBe aware of OSHA safety requirements and enforce in all areas.\nThis position requires a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nExcellent forklift skills and forklift license are \nPossess a clean, valid NC Class C Driver’s License.\nAbility to work 40 - 45 hours a week.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
