We are looking for talented, motivated electrical and construction professionals to join our team.\nFor more information, please visit https://dyna-az.com\nJob Title: Warehouse Safety Manager - Mesa, AZ\nJob purpose\nThe Warehouse Safety Manager (WSM) serves as an on-site specialist in safety by implementing best practices and procedures within the company that effectively control accident and health exposures and minimize OSHA citations.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nEducate/train Fabrication and Prefab labor about safety measures\nAssist in case management of incidents\nAssist in post-incident investigations \nMaintain accident reports/records\nManage accident / safety claims as they occur (accompany employee to urgent care)\nWrite initial incident reports (by occurrence)\nManage return to work / modified duty claims\nAssist in set-up of safety protocols and processes for Fabrication and Prefabrication under the direction of the Arizona Safety Director\nPerform Fabrication area inspections (reports)\nManage crane lift plans and maintenance schedules\nEnsure company safety policies and procedures are followed\nMaintain Fabrication and Prefabrication Safety Committee\nWork with building maintenance to ensure safety protocols are being followed and reports are completed\nMaintain emergency response plan for Fabrication area\nQualifications\nBSc/BA in safety management or relevant is preferred\n3-5 years of proven safety experience (fabrication preferred)\nEMT or equivalent certification preferred\nOSHA 10 & 30, 1910\nExperience with fabrication style gantry crane preferred\nWorking knowledge of legal health and safety guidelines\nProven knowledge of risk assessment\nAbility to effectively work as a team member\nOutstanding attention to detail and observation ability\nGood communication, interpersonal abilities and motivational skills\nGood knowledge of MS Office Suite\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Warehouse Safety Manager to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nThe WSM is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nWork Environment\nPrimarily fabrication-based, but some office-based work will be included. Typical working hours for the WSM may vary. Generally Monday - Friday during normal business hours, but when safety incidents occur, they may be required to work longer hours as assigned, including some weekend work.
