They must update As-Built drawings and calibrate systems using electronic test equipment. The Technician will perform testing, programming, commissioning, and servicing, and maintain positive customer relationships.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nImplement the startup, commission, and re-commission of customer systems that utilize pneumatic / electrical / electronic technology\nMaintain accurate As-Built drawing package and make changes in Visio, Excel, Word, as required\nResponsible for calibration of systems requiring basic electronic test equipment, such as multi-meters, network terminals and/ or a laptop computer\nImplement static (stand-alone) and dynamic (total building interactive network) commissioning of software programming\nSet-up of operator workstations with all associated software\nManage process of turnover to service\nTrack and record job progress and keep lead project personnel informed on progress\nKeep project management apprised of concerns and issues\nComplete paperwork on-time including time sheets, expense reports, posting of work orders, on-site documentation and project status reports\nEnd to end testing, programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects and accounts.\nRepresents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location.\nCoordinates with Controls manager, project managers, and customers to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by extensively examining building layouts, updating issues, gathering materials and synchronizing onsite work.\nContinually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets.\nMaintain project related documentation including but not limited to commissioning documentation, daily reports, as-builts and status reports.\nDevelop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with members of the company, clients, subcontractors, and other trade contractors.\nAnticipate and be able to meet short and/or unpredictable deadlines.\nPerform necessary point to point check-out, commissioning, diagnostic, and maintenance procedures on building automation systems, front-end workstations, servers, electric and pneumatic controls.\nTroubleshoot and repair building automation system panels, including communications equipment, printed circuit boards, power supplies, electrical/electronic controls, sensors, and transducers.\nEfficiently edit computer programs for building automation system points such as determining conversion patterns, defining point acronyms, and/or soliciting alarm specifications from operating personnel.\nConsult with Project Manager regarding scope additions and deductions, priorities and deadlines.\nReview contract documents and reconcile with RFIs, and project correspondence regarding approved additional scope to determine what scope should and should not be executed and confirm with the Project Manager.\nInstallation of HVAC automation systems required, knowledge base consisting of:\nAssist with job commissioning, start-up procedures and owner training if necessary\nPrepares sketches showing as-built location of wiring and equipment\nAttend project meetings as necessary\nAbility to work overtime, varied shift hours and occasional travel as needed\nEffectively able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings\nCommunicate clearly and effectively with supervisor and crew members\nWork independently and as a team member\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience:\n5 Years of experience with electrical experience (120vac, 24vac, 24vdc and 12vdc) preferably with low voltage control systems, including experience with ladder logic, relay logic, controllers, and field controllable devices.\n5 Years experience with mechanical systems, including chillers, air handlers, vav systems, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.\nExperience with the following programs or products Automated Logic, systems & networks is a plus.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStart -
