In this position you will be responsible for pre-planning and managing construction projects utilizing all company resources, resulting in satisfied customers, increased productivity, and increased profitability.\n#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-Onsite\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nMaintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs\nWork with Labor Superintendent to ensure labor plan is being carried out\nCreate MEP Schedules and Manloading charts on all projects\nConsistently submit accurate, timely and complete estimates and change order quotations\nCommunicate with purchasing and subcontractors to secure schedule, scope, and price\nPromote and enforce a safe working environment\nSatisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business\nPerform Design Build or Bid Spec Projects\nEstimate various electrical projects whether bid spec, public, private, or design build\nAssist in Electrical Engineering/Engineering Consultation.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\n5+ years experience with commercial, institutional, and industrial projects required.\nKnowledge of electrical systems and mechanical coordination.\nProject Financial tracking responsibility and reporting experience required.\nExperience in monitoring labor performance for purpose of identification of labor productivity and tracking progress.\nKnowledge in generating construction schedule and updating of same.\nKnowledge in reading plans and specifications for purpose of ordering material and estimating of change orders.\nAbility to order, track and expedite for timely delivery of MEP and specialty items required for the project.\nKnowledge and experience in managing multi-disciplined projects, a plus.\nRegular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.\nBenefits\nWe are committed to providing Shambaugh & Son employees and their families with a comprehensive benefits package.
