We are willing to train and welcome those who are experienced and also those brand new to the trade.\n#quebe\n#LI-Onsite\nGENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPlan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.\nConnect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.\nTest electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.\nUse a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.\nRepair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, lighting ballast, motors, etc.\nAssists in keeping building common and electrical spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.\nAccomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, and national and local codes. Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.\nAttend Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.\nObtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.\nExtended hours or weekend overtime may be available.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, depending on position.\nHigh School diploma or GED required.\nKnowledge of the electrical construction industry and the National Electrical Code and design are desirable but not necessary.\nValid Driver’s License.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nMust have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
