Our expertise covers virtually all facets of electrical contracting for the upstream oil and gas industries, including specialty expertise in new well sites and production facility electrification.\nJob Summary\nNative Energy Solutions is looking for an HSE Coordinator to support our operations in the Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming areas.\nThis is a shared regional HSE role providing hands-on safety support to our field operations, employees, and leadership teams. The HSE Coordinator will spend significant time in the field helping identify hazards, improve safety performance, conduct audits and observations, and ensure company and client safety expectations are being met.We are looking for someone who is comfortable being in the field, working with people, and learning the different aspects of HSE. The right person will be willing to ask questions, learn our operations, identify hazards, and speak up when something does not look right.\nThis position requires someone who can build relationships with employees and supervisors while maintaining the safety standards expected by Native Energy Solutions and our clients.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProvide day-to-day HSE support for operations in the Bakken and Casper areas.\nMaintain a strong field presence and work directly with employees and supervisors.\nConduct job-site inspections, safety audits, observations, and compliance reviews.\nIdentify hazards and work with operations to correct issues.\nSupport incident and near-miss investigations.\nAssist with employee onboarding, orientations, and safety training.\nReview and support JSAs/JHAs and other safety documentation.\nMonitor compliance with OSHA, company, and client-specific requirements.\nSupport client audits, meetings, and safety initiatives.\nMaintain accurate safety records and documentation.\nAssist with safety programs, inspections, and corrective actions.\nHelp promote a strong safety culture while holding employees accountable to established standards.\nCommunicate safety concerns and opportunities to operations and HSE leadership.\nTravel between the Bakken and Casper operations as needed.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nOSHA 30-hour certification required\nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety practices\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work effectively with field employees, supervisors, and management\nStrong organizational and documentation skills\nBasic computer skills and ability to learn electronic safety management systems\nValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record\nAbility and willingness to travel between assigned locations\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious safety, HSE, construction, oil & gas, electrical, industrial, or related experience\nFirst Aid/CPR certification\nNFPA 70E experience or training\nIncident investigation experience\nExperience with electronic safety management systems\nOil & gas, electrical, construction, or industrial experience\nExperience working with client-specific safety programs and requirements\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to spend extended periods of time in the field and on active jobsites.\nAbility to walk, stand, climb stairs and ladders, and navigate uneven or rough terrain.\nAbility to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach as needed while performing field inspections.\nAbility to wear required PPE for extended periods, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, FR clothing, and safety footwear.\nAbility to work around and inspect equipment, vehicles, electrical systems, and industrial work areas.\nAbility to safely perform required field duties in varying weather conditions.\nWork Environment\nPrimarily field-based with time spent on active oil & gas, electrical, construction, industrial, and energy-related jobsites.Regular exposure to outdoor environments, including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, and changing weather conditions.Potential exposure to elevated noise levels, dust, dirt, chemicals, electrical equipment, heavy equipment, and moving vehicles.May be required to work near energized and de-energized electrical equipment while following all applicable safety requirements.Must be comfortable working around active construction and industrial operationsOccasional office work, meetings, training, and administrative duties.Regular travel between the Bakken (Montana & North Dakota) and Casper, Wyoming areas.Work schedules may vary based on operational and client needs, including occasional weekends or extended hours.Strict adherence to Native Energy Solutions and client-specific safety requirements is always required.\nBenefits\nHealth\nDental\nVision\nBasic Life & Supplemental Life\n401(k) & Roth 401(k)\nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability\nTeledoc\nEmployee Assistance Program\nCollege Coaching\nHSA or FSA\nDependent Care\nPTO\nSick Pay (Coming in 2027)\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanicaland electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure,we offer employess a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and sucess.
