In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the completion of material requests, fabrication orders (IRTs), and ensuring that fabrication orders/IRTs are packed and shipped complete. Works hand and hand with trucking. This involves verifying that orders can be fulfilled and finding solutions when they cannot be. The coordinator is also responsible for ordering materials for the shop. This requires determining what needs to be ordered, quantities to maintain, and when to place orders.\n#shambaugh #ppf #LI-TS #-Onsite\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nIRTsReceiving IRTs, from emails, call ins, with packets….. \nTaking care of service calls/orders \nMaking sure they make sense, from tablets, pics, may have to call sender \nPrinting them & bringing them out to the floor to shop all day long. Deal with urgencies when applicable \nConfirming the IRTs completion when done, confirm delays with fitters/field when applicable \nProvide tracking info and updates on IRTs \nCoordinating with trucking to get IRTs on trucks (sometimes piggyback on other job’s trucks) \nInvestigate, explain and be able to fix fumbles and mishaps \n\nInventoryPutting together a list of items that need to be ordered, control inventory \nDetermine quantity to order, standard use quantities from historical data \nFormat the order into an MRO, send to purchasing, get confirming PO’s/order confirmation to track delivery (purchasing) \nCheck on the order to ensure delivery \nKeep track of previous orders to prevent double orders, refer to existing/current data to verify \n\nAdditional Duties & ResponsibilitiesRecording & tracking various shop stats-welds/threads \nManage supply of fab check lists, weld count sheets \nAssist with fabrication packets, break up lists-as backup when needed \nInventory counts (Pipe counts daily) \nKeep track of fabricated jobs. Let trucking know where jobs are staged in yard.
