Coordinating transportation, Warehousing, and delivery activities to ensure goods move efficiently from origin to destination.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nOutbound Management: Plan, coordinate, monitor, and track shipments to ensure timely deliveries to job sites\nCoordinate: Communicate with internal teams, drivers, and jobsite personnel regarding scheduling and shipment status \nScheduling/Dispatch: Plan daily routes for driver according to jobsite request dates, update weekly delivery log. \nOrder Verification: Verify orders, coordinate with prefabrication and job sites for accuracy. \nStaging and Preparation: Stage outbound orders based on jobsite priorities and delivery schedules. Ensure orders are properly labeled, organized, secured, and ready for transport\nDispatch: Plan daily routes for the driver, will call pick-ups, and hot shot requests \nDocumentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed transmittals, Bill of Ladings, and pertinent shipping documentation. Ensure completed deliveries are archived with signed transmittal \nProcess Improvement: Implementing strategies to enhance logistical efficiency, optimize routing, and reduce transportation costs \nCompliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to company policies and local, state, and federal transportation regulations, and maintaining safety standards in warehouses and during transport. Ensure load configurations comply with vehicle weight capacities, load distribution requirements, and transportation safety standards prior to dispatch.\nAdministrative: File signed transmittals, BOLs, Pre-trip QA/QC forms, and pre-task planners. \nQualifications\n2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation coordination, or construction material management preferred.\nSome college preferred; HS/GED required\nStrong organizational, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).\nValid drivers license \nKnowledge of electrical construction materials and processes is a plus\nProvide innovative thinking to improve processes \nExcellent customer service skills\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Logistics Coordinator to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nMust be able to stand/walk for long periods of time (8 hours or more); bend/stoop, kneel/crouch; lift move or push up to 50 lbs; good manual dexterity (use/management of tools); ability to climb using a ladder.
