Coordinate and complete preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, dock levelers, and other mechanical systems. Perform minor repairs on above systems. By performing the following duties.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nOperates and maintains fork trucks\nObserves mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.\nDismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.\nExamines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.\nInspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.\nAdjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.\nRepairs or replaces defective parts.\nInstalls special functional and structural parts in devices\nLubricates. Oils, and cleans equipment per manufacturing specification.\nStarts devices to test their performance.\nAssists in repairs of electrical equipment.\nInstalls power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment.\nConnects power supply wires to machines and building equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and building equipment.\nDiagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.\nReplace electric motor bearings.\nReplace, align, shim motors, re-build pumps and motors.\nAssist in Plan layouts of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.\nDiagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic components of machine and building equipment.\nPerforms preventative maintenance tasking as assigned.\nResponsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.\nMaintain, organize, and control inventory supplies tools and equipment.\nClean and organize shop area. Maintain inventory of spare parts and material. Maintain tools and equipment for maintenance work.\nQualifications\nEducation\n(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)\nHS Diploma\nBusiness Experience\n(prior years work/related experience)\nTen (10) or more years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nLicenses/Certifications\nMust possess a valid driver’s license.\nLocal License if applicable by local jurisdiction.\nFork truck and aerial lift equipment certification\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.\nTechnical Qualifications & Skills\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
