In this role you will pre-plan and manage Mission Critical / Data Center construction projects. When this work is not available, you will work on hospital, healthcare, and other construction projects.#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-onsiteEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nMaintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI, and contingency logs.\nReview mechanical drawings and specifications looking for inconsistencies, thoroughness, potential issues, and to obtain an understanding of project.\nPrepare, review, approve, and submit material and equipment submittals.\nManage sub-contractors, ensuring their work is being performed on-time and installed according to project details and specifications.\nAttend project coordination meetings to ensure our work is not being impeded, can be installed according to plan, and on time.\nWalk the site with stakeholders to review work and ensure we're in compliance with the design, and help implement any necessary remediation.\nTrack equipment deliveries and help manage equipment installations and start-up.\nParticipate in job tracking, manpower use, and earned value management reporting.\nConsistently submit accurate, timely, and complete estimates and change order quotations.\nCommunicate with purchasing, subcontractors, and fabrication shops to secure schedule, scope and price.\nPromote and enforce a safe working environment\nSatisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.\nOther duties as required.\nQualifications\nFive years of Project Management, or Project Engineering experience preferred.\nExperience managing $1-5 million projects\nKnowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems\nExperience monitoring labor performance and tracking progress.\nKnowledge in generating and updating construction schedules using MS Project.\nAbility to read plans for ordering material and estimating change orders.\nAbility to order, track, and expedite timely delivery of MEP items.\nExcellent communicator in both written and verbal forms.\nSelf-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervision\nHighly customer oriented.\nTeam player with the ability to motivate others.\nPositive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.\nRegular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours, off shift, or on weekends when required.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanicaland electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure,we offer employess a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and sucess.
