With a focus on client requirements, we offer BIM capabilities, design-build services, sustainable solutions, commercial HVAC systems, and complex mechanical and industrial system installations.\nJob Summary\nUniversity Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. is currently seeking an individual for a full-time position as a Mechanical Senior Project Manager located in the San Diego area.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nPREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nProven project management skills with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a project manager with full mechanical contracting or related construction firms.\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in industrial related projects.\nMinimum 5 years of preconstruction/design-assist experience.\nProven experience in management of healthcare, data center, lab, higher education and semi-conductor projects. Contract value range of $15M-200M.\nDegree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering preferred.\nExperience working with job sites in healthcare is preferred.\nComputer Skills\nAble to effectively operate the following computer software programs\nMicrosoft Project, Microsoft Office, Viewpoint\nNote: This is not intended to be neither a detailed nor comprehensive description on any individual employee’s job content.
