Additionally, our expertise covers close tolerance and precision alignment, as well as fabrication, concrete construction, and industrial HVAC solutions.\nJob Summary\nJob Title: Project Engineer\nDepartment: Operations\nReports To: Project Manager\nFLSA: NON-EXEMPT\nSummary:\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nProvide exceptional, first-class customer service.\nAssist with the execution and management of project needs.\nPrepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.\nMaintain regular communication and collaboration with entire project team, including Project Foreman, Project Manager, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer, and other subcontractors.\nGenerate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation in the execution of the construction processes for all phases of the project. This will include, but is not limited to, requests for information, submittals, drawings, specifications, purchase orders, material orders, change orders, close-out documents, etc.\nPerform material take offs from drawings to help generate estimates and changes.\nDemonstrate attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in all aspects of the work.\nMaintain flexibility with assigned work environment and assigned project locations. May be required to commute to various jobsite locations.\nAttend and conduct meetings as required.\nComply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.\nOther duties may be assigned as specific projects dictate.\nOther responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the Project Superintendent and Project Manager with day to day field operations such as material expediting, time keeping, RFI's, submittals, design team coordination, walking down the installed scope of work to confirm quantity's installed that will feed into the schedule and other reporting functions.\n**Please note: This position does not do design work. **\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field; OR 2 years’ prior experience in related field via internships, co-ops, and/or industry employment\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nFlexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software.\nEngineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience preferred, but not required.\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
