Our customers include commercial, medical, and technology, as well as municipalities and government agencies.\nJob Summary\nThe Project Intern will assist the Project Team with coordinating project information on commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\n Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.\nSupport Project Manager in driving project’s overall flow effectively from inception to completion.\nAssist with project document control, including but not limited to, insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFI’s, change orders, correspondence, etc. \nEnsure documents are centrally saved in the project’s chosen document control software. \nVerify correct drawings are distributed to field.\nSupport project schedule showing completion, delivery dates and sub requirements. Integrate into overall project and manpower schedule as required or directed by the Project Manager.\nTrack deliveries of major equipment and subs indicating shipping requirements and anticipating delivery dates. (Request proper delivery notice at that time.)\nCoordinate with field personnel to ensure QA/QC documentation is completed and submitted as required.\nGather information for changes in work and turnover to estimating for pricing. \nAssist field personnel in closeout of project.\nEscalate critical and/or sensitive issues to the Project Manager with recommendation for resolution.\nComply with all Company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.\nPerform additional assignments as directed by the Project Manager or Asst.
