Our customers include commercial, medical, and technology, as well as municipalities and government agencies.\nJob Summary\nThe Porter Co., Inc is currently looking for a Project Manager that responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires experience leading multi-million-dollar mechanical construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive project success.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nLead, planning, scheduling, and execution of large mechanical construction projects.\nManage large project budgets, contracts, and financial performance.\nCoordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.\nProvide technical advice to both clients and employees working on assigned project.\nOversee procurement of materials and equipment.\nEnsure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.\nEnsures accurate and timely project documentation, including but not limited to, RFI's submittals, schedule updates, time records, supplemental work orders, change order pricing, and general project correspondence.\nIdentify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.\nProvide leadership and mentorship to project teams; Monitor all work performed on assigned project.\nConduct regular meetings to track progress and address challenges.\nPrepare and present project reports to stakeholders.\nDrive continuous improvement and innovation in project management processes.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, or a related field.\nMinimum of 8-10 years of experience managing mechanical and plumbing contracts valued at $15-$50 Million+.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems.\nProficiency in project management software (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project).\nExcellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and negotiation skills.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
