As a commercial HVAC contractor with the knowledge and experience to also provide commercial boiler repair and chiller services, clients count on us to handle virtually every mechanical challenge.\nJob Summary\nThe Project Manager is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of project plans for multiple projects at any given time that result in the completion of projects at or below cost targets while meeting or exceeding goals for safety, completion time, and customer satisfaction. The project manager would manage installations of commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, packaged units, split systems, VRF, air handlers, boilers, pumping systems, cooling towers, starters/VFDs/controls, and more.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nManagement of budget, schedule, quality, and technical performance of assigned project(s)\nStrong written, verbal, and leadership skills\nReview design drawings, shop drawings, and notify field of changes/issues\nAbility to read, analyze, and understand design specifications, submittals, and contracts\nCreate and maintain project schedules\nEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion\nCommunicate with mechanical/electrical/structural engineers\nProvide regular updates to the projects team and management on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status\nManpower planning, scheduling, and training to ensure adequate availability of skilled labor to complete major projects within committed budget/time/scope for multiple projects\nOversee and coordinate manpower on job sites\nFollow and enforce site safety requirements\nIdentification and selection of subcontractors\nCoordinate purchase and delivery of material and equipment to job sites\nImplement risk management techniques\nAssist in developing project estimates\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) from four-year college/university with additional HVAC experience or 2-year degree with 5 years additional HVAC experience\nKnowledge of HVAC and mechanical background, familiarity with HVAC design and installation• Commitment to safety• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Project, Lotus Notes, etc.); AutoCAD skills are a bonus• Ability to climb ladders and stairs• Valid driver’s license\nEMCOR Services New York/New Jersey is an equal opportunity employer and will provide reasonable accommodation to those individuals who are unable to be vaccinated consistent with federal, state, and local law\nThe salary range for this position is 90K to 130K depending on experience + Incentive.
