UMEC designs, builds and commissions mechanical systems, including heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and piping systems for commercial, institutional, high tech, industrial and military clients.\nSUMMARY\nUniversity Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects on time and within budget for Semiconductor, Data Center Markets, Healthcare, Higher Education and a wide range of other markets. The position requires have 5-7 years Construction Project Management experience, preferably working for a Mechanical Contractor. Other duties will likely be assigned.\nThe Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of all aspects of the project;\nManages the overall operations of the project including: Field labor and productivity, scope management, construction schedule, client relations, job cost management, cost control of project, schedule of values, change order management, compliance with project specifications, and the performance of daily operations;\nPreparing monthly financial forecasts and updates;\nEnforces UMEC Safety Program and coordinates with Safety Director to ensure proper site safety practices and procedures are followed;\nCoordinates purchase of necessary materials, equipment, rentals and services with purchasing department;\nResponsible for ensuring complete and proper processing of all project correspondence, records, reports, etc. and timely submission;\nComply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs;\nResponsible for directing and overseeing the work activities of their direct reports\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
