We leverage VDC, green building techniques, integrated project delivery, and lean construction methods that help improve efficiency and enhance client operations.\nJob Summary\nGaston Electrical is looking for a Service Project Manager who is responsible for responding to service requests from clients and managing projects from estimating to project completion. This person is also responsible for growing our existing customer base through positive and responsive customer interactions.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nManage service projects through pre-planning, cost tracking, billing, project documentation and project close out.\nManage existing customer relationships and provide excellent customer service to help grow our division. Identify new opportunities for business and promote Gaston’s services.\nSchedule field service technicians for jobs and adjust schedules as needed.\nProject manpower for projects on a weekly basis.\nPrepare estimates for service projects.\nWork with Accounting department on billing.\nParticipate in meeting annual service department revenue and profit margin goals.\nOperates as point of contact for assigned customers.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Licensed electrician is preferred.\nExperience in working with customers.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated experience in staying organized and following up on tasks.\nAbility to work on tasks efficiently and prioritize work.\nAbility to identify and meet customers’ expectations and requirements.\nAbility to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.\nDemonstrated experience using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word.\nKnowledge of Spectrum Construction Software a plus.\nKnowledge of Conest Estimating Software a plus.\nNo agencies please.\n#gaston\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
