Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.\nJob Summary\nThe HVAC Apprentice Technician is responsible for assisting in the operation, repair, replacement and preventative maintenance of commercial and industrial air conditioning and heating systems, chillers and boilers, air handlers, fan coil units, water treatment equipment, controls and other building mechanical and electrical equipment under direction from a Journeyman/ Foreman/Field Service Supervisor. The individual must be self-motivated and work under direct supervision. Good communication skills; verbal and written are imperative. The individual must maintain safe work practices in support of the OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards as it applies when performing the assigned duties.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nKnowledge of how HVAC equipment\nResponsible for assisting in assembling, installing, servicing and repairing customer heating, air conditioning and other HVAC equipment.\nRetrofit installations, ductwork, refrigeration piping, and wiring\nInstallation and change-outs of ductwork on commercial\nSelf-motivated and work with little supervision.\nMaintain safe work practices in support of OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nEntry level experience in maintaining and working with HVAC equipment.\nStrong oral and written communication required.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with supervision in isolated areas.\nKnowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.\nValid Vehicle Operators license\nAbility to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.\nAbility to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to climb stairs, ladders and work at extended heights.\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). i.e. but not limited to, Dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection.\nWorking knowledge of desktop computers and Internet based programs to perform required annual training.\nAbility to wear a company uniform and maintain a neat personal appearance\nThis position will require a background check and drug screening.\n#Mesa #LI-Mesa #LI-HVACjobs #LI-Onsite\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanicaland electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure,we offer employess a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and sucess.
