The Project Scheduler reports directly to the Senior Project Manager or Project Director and works closely with Project Field Leadership to understand project scope and develop accurate schedules based on team input, task relationships, and durations.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nEssential Job Functions\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools. \nCreate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define activity relationships, constraints, and milestones. \nIncorporate resource and cost loading (labor, equipment, and materials) into schedules for accurate forecasting and earned value reporting. \nPerform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and recovery strategies. \nEvaluate actual progress and provide regular schedule updates to stakeholders. \nCoordinate with the General Contractor and key stakeholders to provide accurate status updates based on the internal master schedule, ensuring alignment between internal and external reporting. \nPrepare detailed schedule reports, variance analyses, and dashboards for stakeholders. \nPerform forensic schedule analysis, including delay analysis, time impact studies, and root cause evaluations. \nSupport claims and dispute resolution with detailed schedule documentation and analysis. \nWork with Field Leaders to create and refine look-ahead schedules and micro schedules for specific tasks. \nParticipate in weekly schedule updates with the General Contractor and report status based on internal updates. \nExport schedule data between Primavera P6 and Smartsheet platforms. \nConduct QA/QC reviews of schedule submissions for compliance. \nAssist Project Managers in creating short-term schedules and monitor their impact on the master schedule. \nPerform schedule comparison and analysis between previous and current schedules to identify shifts.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field. \n8+ years of experience in project scheduling for electrical or industrial projects \nExpert-level proficiency in Primavera P6; experience with Smartsheet and other planning tools preferred. \nExperience with resource loading, earned value management, and forensic schedule analysis. \nFamiliarity with Lean Construction practices (Last Planner System, Pull Planning). \nStrong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). \nPreferred:\nOn-site, mission-critical project experience with construction experience. \nExperience with Smartsheet, Touch plan, or other construction planning software. \nKnowledge of industry standards (AACE, PMI). \nFamiliarity with contractual requirements and claims processes. \nAbility to mentor junior schedulers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. \n#ConstructionJobs #ProjectScheduler #Scheduler #ElectricalConstruction #DataCenter #MissionCritical\nBenefits\nBenefits\nMedical and Dental (100% of the premium covered by Miller Electric)\n401k retirement with company matching\nVision plans\nDisability Insurance\nBasic and Supplemental Life Insurance \nFlexible Spending Accounts\nTravel Accident Insurance \nPaid Vacation & Holidays\nTuition Reimbursement Program\nCollege Coach Services\nWellness initiatives\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAs a leading provider of mechanicaland electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure,we offer employess a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and sucess.
