We have acquired the most technologically and physically advanced resources available to meet the growing needs of our customers.\nJob Title: --Utility Maintenance Mechanic\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nReports to Supervisor or assigned trades worker\nCompletes service request in a timely manner\n Performs electrical maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs\nRepairs restroom fixtures and other minor plumbing duties\nPerforms minor building equipment preventive maintenance\nRepairs sheet rock and spackles \nSpot paints common areas such as lobbies, freight elevator lobbies, restrooms, etc.\nReplaces ceiling tiles and other basic carpentry task\nMaintains cleanliness in and around all Building Operations Services facilities also shops, boiler room, chiller room, electrical room, mechanical rooms, etc.\nPaints equipment rooms and machinery \nReceives deliveries for projects, controls moving & delivery crew’s use of elevators\nDriving skills with up to 1-1/2-ton truck.\nOvertime and shift work maybe required\nPerform any additional duties on an as required basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual obligations.\nSafely use all types of related hand and power tools\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma\nThree years building maintenance experience.\nStrength and dexterity to perform physically demanding duties as outlined.\nValid driver’s license as required to drive any vehicles which may be assigned. \nKnowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical of maintenance operations.
