In this role you will manufacture or evaluate products according to established protocols, provide technical support to others and perform operations is support of the group and department.\nResponsibilities:\nSafely perform operations to meet quality expectations\nEnsure quality throughout the process\nComplete the volume of work required to achieve group/departmental goals and meet deadlines\nParticipate as needed in quality audits\nIn compliance with change control procedures, improve processes through application of scientific knowledge, experience, and principles\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement\nPhysical Attributes:\nWearing appropriate protective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment “PPE” to protect from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborne particles \nLifting and/or moving to 50 pounds unassisted and ability to push and pull heavy materials to complete assignment. Lifting more poundage with assistance.\nSitting, standing, walking, reaching, stoops, kneeling, crouching and crawling for extended periods of time\nWho You Are:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other Life Science discipline\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with safe chemical handling methods\n1+ years of experience in a lab and experience with lab equipment\nProficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the ability to learn and operate other specific application software\nStrong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting abilities\nStrong communication skills, oral and written\nEffective interpersonal and communication skills\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nKnowledge of ISO Quality standards\nPay Range for this position: $24.00 - $39.00/hour\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
