Act as an integral part of the global the network team providing support and services primarily during North American business hours.. Handle support and escalation activities brought to the network group via support tickets, automated monitoring, user reporting, etc. Work outside of normal business hours may be required as necessitated by business need. Think globally and work across departments and geographies, encouraging teamwork that respects diverse backgrounds and cultural differences to drive results.\nWho you are\nYou are a skilled and motivated Network Engineer supporting network operations, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and implementing network security measures within a complex organizational environment. You have a solid understanding of network technologies, protocols, and security practices, you can work independently on operational tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.\nBetween 3-5 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle design, engineering, configuration and administration of routers & switches, firewalls, multi-segment networks and MPLS WANs\nBachelor’s degree or IT / Network Related Certifications preferred\nKnowledge of enterprise wired and wireless network technologies\nKnowledge of SD-WAN architecture and concepts\nKnowledge of various networking protocols and technologies such as HTTP - HTTPS - DNS - VPN (IPSec/SSL) - TCP/IP stack - FTP - TFTP - SMTP - IEEE Standards - QoS - VoIP (H.323, SIP) OSPF, MPLS, ACL's, eBGP /iBGP, 802.1D/W, Policy Based and Static routing, Fiber Channel over Ethernet, VRF and Virtual Device Contexts\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nYou apply structured problem-solving methods and support the implementation of secure and reliable network solutions.\nHighly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills \nThe ability to thrive in a fast paced and growing environment, while using sound judgment to resolve complex issues and challenges. \nComfortable initiating change. \nYou handle the stress related to balancing multiple issues and perspectives.\nFluent in English\nCandidates must be available to work special shifts and participate in an on-call rotation approximately once every ten (10) weeks.\nCandidates will be selected to fill in the new second shift in our operations (working shift from 2pm to 10pm)\nWhat we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
