That's why we are always looking for curious minds that see themselves imagining the unimaginable with us.\nYour Role:\nAs the Operations Manager of Asset Accounting, you will lead a team of 30+ full-time employees (FTEs) within the Manila Hub.\nOversee the day-to-day operations of the different asset accounting teams, ensuring efficient processing of fixed asset transactions and adherence to company policies and procedures.\nEnsure that all operational processes related to Month-End closing activities are executed accordingly.\nScope of the process spans across globally - Asia, EMEA, North America, and LATAM.\nThis role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of fixed asset process & accounting treatments.\nManage the fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and disposal, ensuring compliance with local and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).\nCollaborate with Financial Solutions GPO organization to support fixed asset reporting and analysis, providing insights into asset performance and utilization.\nDevelop and implement best practices for fixed asset management, enhancing process efficiency and accuracy.\nLead and mentor the fixed asset operations team, providing training and support to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.\nCoordinate with internal and external auditors during fixed asset audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are in order.\nCoordinate the implementation of any recommendations or corrective actions resulting from the audit findings.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for fixed asset operations and implement improvements as necessary using lean methodologies such as problem solving.\nAct as a liaison between the fixed asset team and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration on cross-functional projects.\nCollaborate with senior management to align asset accounting with organization goals and priorities.\nPerform Daily/Weekly Management with Operations Team Lead to keep track of deliverables and KPIs\nTeam Leadership: Directly manage a diverse team of 30+ full-time employees, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure high performance.\nPerformance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, set individual goals, and provide timely feedback to foster professional growth.\nTraining and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs to enhance team capabilities and knowledge in asset accounting.\nEmployee Engagement: Promote a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, open communication, and employee recognition to maintain high morale.\nSuccession Planning: Develop and implement strategies for talent development and succession planning within the asset accounting team to ensure continuity and expertise.\nWho You Are:\nEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent accounting license is a nice to have but not required.\nExperience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within a shared service or global business services environment.\n Technical Skills: Proficiency in fixed asset management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential.\n Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and international accounting standards related to fixed assets (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).\nLeadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.\nAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders.\nGlobal Perspective: Experience working in a global environment with an understanding of different regional practices and regulations.\n Work Environment: Willingness to work at BGC, Taguig, during day shifts (9 AM - 6 PM) or mid shifts.
