External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.\nYour Role:\nThe Manufacturing Technician 2 in Bellefonte, PA will perform a variety of laboratory processes and support the development of manufacturing processes for new and existing products. This role involves identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities and may include training, following custom product orders, simple experimental design, and troubleshooting processes or equipment.\nEssential Job Functions:\nExecute production processes in various manufacturing areas, ensuring all lab processes for the preparation of products and raw materials are completed according to MPS/SOP/ISO guidelines.\nMonitor processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and design/conduct simple experiments to enhance yield and product quality.\nSet up lab and pilot processes based on technical specifications provided by the Production Supervisor.\nMaintain accurate reports and records, documenting process information for future reference and assisting in the preparation of process documentation.\nAssist in training and orienting new staff in manufacturing processes.\nOperate and maintain all necessary lab equipment, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed.\nCross training in other departments as needed, to support other production areas’ demands.\nPhysical Attributes :\nSuccessful completion of a pre-employment physical.\nNormal vision capabilities.\nOperate standard PC.\nProficient in using hand tools, balances, pumps, ovens, and various laboratory equipment.\nLift and move materials weighing between 15-50 lbs.\nCapability to move between various workstations within the lab.\nWork at bench level.\nProficient in handling chemicals safely with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).\nWho You Are\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1+ years of work experience in an industrial setting.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3+ years of work experience, in an industrial environment.\nKnowledge or educational background in Chemistry or a related science.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\nEffective teamwork skills with good communication abilities and a willingness to assist others.\nBasic knowledge of math principles for calculations involving ratios and percentages.\nRSREMD\nPay Range for this position: $17.00-$27.00 per hour\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
