Please do not share outside of the organization.\nLocation:\nThe Project Manager, Megasys is a field-based role located in Santa Clara, CA (or the surrounding Bay Area). Approximately 10% domestic travel is required to meet business needs.\nYour Role:\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of gas and chemical systems for our customers' semiconductor facilities. In this role, you will serve as both a project leader and people manager, directly leading and developing a team of professionals while managing all aspects of project delivery - including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.\nThe Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional operations teams, building a high-performing project team through coaching, mentorship, and clear accountability. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture while driving the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPlan, organize, and manage the construction and demolition of gas and chemical systems for the semiconductor facility, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget with a team of engineers and technicians.\nCoordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure the timely delivery of milestones within the project including start up and commissioning of equipment.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.\nManage project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.\nEnsure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards throughout the construction process.\nCommunicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis.\nLead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.\nProvide regular updates and reports on project progress, budget, and resource utilization.\nSchedule:\nThe Manager will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule; however, they will be expected to be available for off-hours calls and to coordinate equipment recovery as needed.\nPhysical Attributes:\n75% of time walking throughout the facility (3-5 miles per day). \nClimbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection). \nBasic lifting (up to 40lbs). \nBending of the knees and overhead reaching. \nMilitary Veterans:\nMEGASYS® is a military-friendly employer that values the skills obtained through military teamwork. Veterans from any branch or MOS with hands-on mechanical skill sets are encouraged to apply.\nWho You Are\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Science, Construction Management, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience\n3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in facilities, construction, manufacturing, chemicals, or the semiconductor industry, with a focus on gas and chemical systems\nOR\nHigh School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant work experience\n5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in facilities, construction, manufacturing, chemicals, or the semiconductor industry, with a focus on gas and chemical systems\nDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and build high-performing teams\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Chemical Science, Construction Management, or a related field\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification\nExperience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies\nIn-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment\nStrong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills\nProficiency in project management tools and software\nFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to gas and chemical systems in semiconductor manufacturing\nBenefits with our team include:\nComprehensive, paid, on the job training program that allows our employees to quickly learn critical technical skills to excel in this role and rapidly progress in their careers. \nExcellent benefits including a starting vacation allowance of 3 weeks, 6% 401k match programs and medical, dental and vision benefit coverage on day one of employment! \nTuition assistance program \nPay Range for this position: $144,000 - $170,000\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position.
