Please do not share outside of the organization.\nYour Role:\nThe Operations Team Lead for MilliporeSigma at the Milwaukee site will lead a team of staff working within the distribution environment, that engages in problem solving and performance management within the business area they are responsible for. Job duties include:\n Shift hours: Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:00am with a 7% shift differential\nAssists Supervisor and works in a lead technical capacity to maintain workflow in department\nProvides training and operational support to the department\nMaintains high-quality work environment by sharing knowledge and experiences so team members are motivated to perform at their highest level\nKeeps supervisor informed of potential and/or existing concerns\nLeads by example in performing core warehouse/packaging job elements by meeting or exceeding performance expectations, following health and safety guidelines, job accuracy, and following company and regulatory requirements\nParticipates in and supports the development and implementation of process improvement projects and leads test cycles to challenge current practices, improve system efficiency, enhance customer service, and maintain compliance\nPosts, receives, scans, and distributes orders to lines and hoods by duration and schedule\nUses technical knowledge of products and acquired knowledge of state and federal regulations and business practices to respond to inquiries and determine if orders can be packaged/shipped safely and compliantly\nEffectively uses reports and checks priorities to plan and coordinate orders to maintain high service levels\nTroubleshoot problems within the department - including root cause analysis and development of solutions to avoid future occurrences\nAssists with testing changes in systemic programs and operational processes\n. File all documentation as required in designated area(s)\nAbility to identify and correct discrepancies between applicable systems\nPerform quality checks or audits to ensure procedures are being followed correctly\nFollows all good distribution practices (GDP), where applicable\nExemplary attendance and adherence to schedule\nMiscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned\nMember of the spill team or MERT\nAbility to work overtime as needed, often on minimal notice\nCoordinates with sales to meet customer requirements (Packaging)\nCoordinates shipments and orders with external customers (Packaging)\nWho You Are:\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n2 + years of Distribution/Warehouse experience \nPreferred Qualifications:\n3+years of Quality Systems Management or Continuous Improvement experience\nExperience operating PCs, printers, RF scanner, pallet jack, selecting carts, packing equipment (tape machines, etc.), and various cutting instruments\nKnowledge of SAP, WMS, Word, Excel, Access, and Clipper-ship\nUnderstanding of Good Manufacturing Practices\nKnowledge of product flow throughout the packaging/warehousing process\nDetail-oriented professional that can efficiently prioritize and execute given tasks under tight deadlines\nA strong team player work ethic with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nObtain power equipment operators license in a specific functional area\nDemonstrated problem-solving and team building skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of people\nRSREMD\nPay Range for this position: $28.00 - $43.00\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
