Reporting into the Night Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the Synthesis and Purification of Custom DNA. You will be fully trained on all duties of the role, no previous experience is required although experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment is useful.\nResponsibilities include using our in-house DNA synthesis and purification platforms for both desalting and reverse phase purification processes, preparing and operating both synthesis and purification equipment along with associated liquid handling equipment, monitoring and replenishing reagents as required, preparing QC and quantification samples, performing all tasks to production schedules and associated work instructions and standards, recording run data on QMS paperwork and updating database and associated electronic forms to ISO 9001 standards.\nThe working hours of this role will be Sunday - Thursday 11pm-7am.\nWho You Are:\n3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English.\nPrevious experience working in a similar environment (production/manufacturing/warehouse) - preferred.\nExperience working/following SOP’s guidelines - preferred.\nProficient in the use of computer-based systems.\nAbility to prioritise own workload with good attention to detail.\nHave a proactive approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nWhat we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
