Please do not share outside of the organization.\nYour Role:\n\nThe Production Planner 2 plans, schedules, and coordinates products and raw materials through the production schedules. The role expedites operations that delay schedules. It interfaces with Production, Quality Control, and Procurement to review backorder status and prioritize production orders. The Production Planner 2 also mitigates other potential schedule interruptions or rescheduling requirements.\nEssential Functions:\nAnalyze plant capacity and production data to determine manufacturing processes and resources.\nImpacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams that affect team performance.\nUses sound interpersonal skills to advance discussions and build consensus across the business primarily regarding own technical area or discipline.\nUse specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment, and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements.\nCoordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules to maintain production and provide input to management.\nImpacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams that affect team performance.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWho You Are\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n5+ years of planning experience.\nOR\nBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other business discipline.\n3+ years of planning experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nBiochemical or Biotechnical experience. \nProduction planning.\nAPICS Certification.\nTeam leadership experience.\nAbility to expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.\nAbility to work with own discretion and judgment within broad guidelines.\nAbility to manage own workload with minimal supervision.\nWorking knowledge of SAP.\nEffective analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, both oral and written. \nExcellent time management and organizational skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills.\nPay Range for this position: $62,800 - $107,400\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
