External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.\nYour Role:\nThis is a dual-capability procurement role combining day-to-day operational buying with targeted strategic sourcing execution for assigned materials and services within DS&S.\nOwns procure-to-pay activities as the primary responsibility, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery, master data accuracy, and supply continuity across assigned spend categories.\nExecutes sourcing activities for designated material groups in alignment with global category strategy and in close coordination with Category and Sourcing Managers, covering negotiation events, supplier evaluations, and source-to-contract delivery\nPartners closely with Sourcing Managers, Category Managers, Planning, and site stakeholders to bridge operational execution with strategic sourcing outcomes.\nKey Accountabilities:\nBuying (approx. 80%)\nExecute purchase requisitions-to-orders, order confirmations, changes, and closures; maintain accurate supplier and material master data.\nExpedite and track open orders; resolve delivery issues, goods receipt discrepancies, and invoice mismatches in collaboration with Logistics, Quality, and Finance.\nEnsure contract and quotation compliance; perform spot buys within defined thresholds and escalate complex or high-value strategic sourcing events as appropriate.\nMonitor supplier on-time delivery and responsiveness; drive corrective actions and support risk mitigation and supply continuity planning.\nMaintain documentation and compliance with sustainability, ethics, and EHS policies; contribute to P2P process improvements and digital enablement initiatives.\nProvide KPI reporting (OTIF, lead-time adherence, purchase order accuracy); communicate proactively with stakeholders including sites, operations, and engineering.\nCollaborate with Planning and Operations to align procurement activities with production schedules, inventory targets, and demand fluctuations.\nStrategic Sourcing (approx. 20%)\nExecute sourcing activities in the absence of a dedicated Sourcing Manager, including RFI/RFP/RFQ management, supplier evaluations, and competitive bidding processes.\nProvide feedback to Sourcing Managers, Category Managers, and Regional Heads on sourcing outcomes, market observations, supplier performance trends, supplier innovation opportunities, and emerging risks.\nScope of People Responsibility\nNo direct reports.\nMay provide informal guidance and coordination support to junior Buyers or shared service teams on P2P process matters.\nThis is an onsite position in Chandler AZ \nTravel once per year to internal team meeting or supplier visits \nWho You Are:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a similar discipline \n5+ years of experience in procurement operations and/or sourcing within manufacturing or a high-tech environment \n2+ years of buying experience\n1+ years of SAP experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExposure to negotiation and sourcing events is a strong advantage.\nCommunication and stakeholder management, problem-solving, attention to detail, data and Excel proficiency, supplier coordination, negotiation fundamentals, ability to operate effectively across both transactional and strategic procurement contexts.\nPay Range for this position: $73,500-110,300 per year\nThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
