This position supervises shift operations, ensures compliance with operating procedures and safety requirements, and supports the timely production of products. This role requires working in shifts.\nMain Responsibilities\nSafety Compliance\nFollow all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nEnsure that operators properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.\nParticipate in safety training and emergency response activities.\nServe as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and receive training to serve as an Incident Commander for safety-related incidents.\nEquipment and Control System Operation\nSupervise and ensure the proper operation and routine maintenance of production equipment and machinery.\nMonitor and adjust process and control system parameters in accordance with approved operating procedures.\nFollow established manufacturing procedures and protocols.\nIdentify abnormal operating conditions and take appropriate corrective actions.\nQuality Control\nEnsure that products meet applicable quality standards and specifications.\nIdentify quality deviations and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with the relevant departments.\nTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production issues.\nInvestigate the root causes of operational problems.\nImplement or coordinate corrective actions to minimize production downtime.\nMaintenance\nEnsure that operators perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance activities.\nCoordinate with the Maintenance team regarding equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.\nEnsure that maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with approved procedures.\nDocumentation\nAssist the Production Team Leader in developing and updating operating procedures.\nEnsure that operators follow approved procedures and complete the required operating records.\nMaintain accurate shift handover and production records.\nCollaboration and Training\nCollaborate with Production Engineers, Quality personnel, Maintenance, and the Production Team Leader to optimize operations and resolve issues.\nSupport the management of production activities during the assigned shift.\nAssist with employee training, qualification, and performance development.\nWork Environment and 5S\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment.\nEnsure that 5S activities are properly implemented and maintained by operators.\nReport unsafe conditions and take appropriate actions to maintain workplace standards.\nEducation and Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Chemical Engineering is preferred.\nWork Experience\nAt least five years of experience in a production role, preferably in a chemical manufacturing plant.\nMore than three years of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.\nExperience in chemical manufacturing, hazardous chemical handling, or distillation column operation is preferred.\nRelevant certifications, such as forklift operation, pressure vessel operation, fixed crane operation, or high-pressure gas safety supervision, are preferred.\nStrong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nGood written and verbal communication skills in the local language;
