You will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of 10-15 General Ledger Accountants, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all GL operations for assigned entities. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining financial integrity, driving process improvements, and fostering a collaborative environment.\nYour Role:\nTeam Leadership and Management:\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-15 General Ledger Accountants.\nAssign tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.\nFoster a positive and collaborative team environment.\nGeneral Ledger Operations Oversight:\nOversee the daily GL operations, including month-end close (MEC) activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines and policies.\nEnsure the preparation and delivery of accurate financial data and reports to internal customers.\nMonitor and manage accounting processes, general ledger postings, payroll and benefits (where applicable), master data maintenance, and account reconciliations.\nReview and approve complex journal entries and reconciliations.\nFinancial Reporting and Analysis:\nOversee the preparation of reports required by local finance and Group Accounting.\nConduct financial analysis and support pre-audit tasks.\nEnsure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and tax regulations.\nEscalation Management and Advanced Processing:\nHandle escalations and resolve complex GL issues.\nPerform advanced processing for sensitive GL activities.\nProvide support for user testing on ERP/GL-related tasks.\nProcess Improvement and Operational Excellence:\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance GL processes.\nContribute to process excellence initiatives and operational performance reporting.\nIdentify and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.\nStakeholder Collaboration:\nCollaborate effectively with local entity finance to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.\nCommunicate effectively with global teams.\nWho You Are:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.\nMaster’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA accreditation preferred.\nMinimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in General Ledger Accounting Operations, with demonstrated leadership experience.\nProfound knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP, Tax).\nExperience working in a Shared Services Center environment preferred.\nStrong proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems required.\nExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\nWilling to work on-site in BGC, Taguig.\nAmenable to work on a mid-shift/night-shift schedule (Regular Schedule: 3 PM-12 AM, month-end: 9 PM - 6 AM).\nProven ability to manage and lead a team.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nWhat we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
